3d glasses

3D Stereoscopic glasses are nothing new. In fact you had them when you were a kid and probably didn't even know it. Remember the ViewMaster™ that showed all the cool Disney characters in full 3d? The ViewMaster™ allowed you to look at two pictures of the same thing taken from a slightly different view point and tricked your brain into seeing one 3d image.

In order to see things in 3D each eye must see a slightly different picture. This is done in the real world by your eyes being spaced apart so each eye has its own slightly different view. The brain then puts the two pictures together to form one 3D image that has depth to it.

latest Power Strip Pig Concept

Art Lebedev’s latest concept design will certainly whet your appetite. Called the Svintus, it’s a novel take on the boring power strip that takes its inspiration from the farm’s most delicious animal. The design seems a bit localized though. While the spiral cord that plugs into the wall certainly looks like a pig’s tail, the repeated snouts, or snoutlets, that cover its body only work as a visual gag in a country that uses that specific plug format. Here in North America, most of the novelty would be lost.

URWERK releases UR-202S

"URWERK and us had a common ambition to create the Rolls Royce of bracelets and we made no concessions to reach that goal. We manufactured every component ourselves, including the tools to make the components. The bracelet requires 11 separate steps to attain the required level of refinement. Of the 22 links comprising each bracelet, only 6 are identical, "says Mr. Moscatello proudly, having used all of his 43 years of experience in the project.

Time on the UR-202 is displayed using telescopic minute hands operating through the middle of three orbiting and revolving hour satellites. These hands precisely adjust their length to follow the three vectors marking the minutes: 0 -14, 15 – 44, 45 – 60. Extended, they enable the UR-202 to display the time across a large easy-to-read, dial.

How to buy a GPS device

A GPS device is without doubt something extremely useful for persons that have a lot of travelling to do especially in areas where they have not been before and have not been able to learn the roads. However, even if every GPS device you will find on the market will do the job, we reckon that it is also very important the way it does it and this is why in the following lines we are going to present you a couple of things to take in to consideration when buying a GPS device.

      Best price for you

First of all you will need to decide whether you are going to buy a GPS that is going to be used in your car, or one for your bike or for your hiking experiences. There are separate types depending on this and combining them would not be a very good idea.

GPS devices generally come with a preinstalled navigation software and you will have to decide which one suits you best. Test them, ask around and get info on the maps and how detailed they are before making a decision.
