Clear Spot 4G+ 3G/4G

What can't you do? 4G gives you the bandwidth to do all those things that the slow drip of 3G made so painful. Watch live soccer from Europe from the sideline of your son's soccer game in Nashville. Email that ginormous presentation from the road in seconds without having to find a coffee shop to make a connection. Download the video from that conference you couldn't attend in the middle of a trainload of commuters. 4G speed let's you embrace the power of the internet.

All you have to do is experience the speed of 4G for yourself and you'll know. Today's 3G networks were built for making phone calls. But CLEAR's 4G WiMAX network was built just for the internet, wherever you are. That means you have the bandwidth you need to download movies, upload videos, stream games and more—all at ridiculously fast speeds.

All in all, we really do love this device. The seemless switching over between 4G and 3G make the Clear Spot 4G+ Mobile Hotspot useful in the majority of the United States. Setting up the device is very simple with the control panel and the screen right on the device. When connected to 4G, we were impressed with the speeds we were getting. Clear is rapidly expanding the 4G coverage so most densely populated areas should have it in the next few years. The device itself costs $224.99 or it can be leased for $5.99 a month (two-year contract only). The monthly service charge on this device will run you $55 a month
