The Kei Computer at the Riken Advanced Institute for Computational Science in Japan has just taken the top slot on the list of 500 most powerful computers

"K Computer" performs more than 8 quadrillion (8,000 trillion) calculations per second

68,544 computer processing units

672 computer racks

energy effecient supercomputer costs $10 million a year
