Yamaha BD-S671 Networked Blu-ray 3D Player

The Yamaha BD-S671 is a very well built Blu-ray player with a basic feature-set. It doesn’t have the diverse range of Internet and video-on-demand gubbins that you can find in Blu-ray players from LG, Sony or Samsung (and Panasonic, to an extent), but it has some network capabilities and we can’t fault its Blu-ray or DVD picture quality as well as its interface or design.

A few other features make this Yamaha Blu-ray player standout. An iPhone/iPod Touch app allows you to take control of the BD-S671 with the convenience of your Apple device. Combine the player with a Yamaha AV receiver and you can take advantage of one-touch power on and playback from your AV receiver's SCENE setting (when using HDMI). Finally, the onscreen display is both clear and informative.
