Samsung Electronics launches a high-performance Ultrabook namely Samsung Notebook Series 5 Ultra in the local Korean market. Samsung Notebook Series 5 Ultra is designed to excel in portability and power performance, upgrading the concept of ultrabook into a higher level.
The Series 5 Ultra comes in two sizes, one with a 13.3-inch and another with a 14-inch anti-reflective display. It also uses an 8 GB ExpressCache system (from Diskeeper), which maximizes its speed performance for multi media and game contents. And Thanks to Samsung’s Fast Start technology, the Series 5 Ultra boots superfast, comes out of sleep mode within 2 seconds and from hibernation within 7 seconds.

The Series 5 Ultra will be released first in South Korea and will be available from the end of December, 2011, with prices 1 290 000 – 1 490 000 Won ($1123 – $1297 USD) for the 13-incher and 1 340 000 – 1 540 000 Won ($1166 – $1340 USD) for the 14-inch one.
