Nokia Windows Phone 7 Hardware

Nokia's CEO Stephen Elop had recently unveiled the device codenamed "Sea Ray" at an internal event. The Sea Ray is a smartphone based on Microsoft's Windows Phone 7, though it resembles the N9 which was showcased at Nokia Connection last week, and also at the company's booth in CommunicAsia 2011 in Singapore. There are some differences though - the physical camera button isn't available on the N9, but for the Windows Phone 7 Sea Ray, it is placed on the right hand side of the phone. It will also feature the same 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens as well as 1GHz processor with 512 MB RAM. According to some of the leaked images, the rear of the phone looks similar to the N9 apart from the placement of the dual LED flash. Needless to say, the Sea Ray is running the latest Windows Phone 7.5, which is more commonly known as the Mango update.

Nokia W7 And W8

The Nokia W8, a Windows reboot of the Nokia N8, will be the flagship handset, featuring a dual core Qualcomm CPU and Adreno 320 GPU, as well as a 12-megapixel shooter. The Nokia W8 is expected to get a release date in early 2012, possibly Q2.
