As far as processor, it can be hard to get excited now. Speeds are generally the same from one system to another, from one device to another. But that does not, AOT means records can still be divided AOT, blown and minds. Hot Chips conference in 2010, IBM took some time out of their day to talk about their upcoming CPU z196, which is breaking records, as well as attached to the heart of pocket-books.
t’s a four-core slab that was manufactured using the outfit’s 45 nanometer technology, boasting 1.4 billion transistors and the ability to handle more than 50 billion instructions per second.
